As a third generation BC homebuilder, Joel has over 20 years of experience handcrafting West Coast custom homes. Drawing from his supervisory experience on residential, commercial and high-rise construction projects, Joel brings a wealth of experience, skill, passion, integrity and a strong work ethic to each construction project he embarks on. He loves taking on challenges and excels in high-paced work environments. He holds an Under Graduate Degree from the University of British Columbia, complimented by a Red Seal in Carpentry.
Also a third generation BC homebuilder, Xavier has shared many career milestones with Joel. He brings an affinity towards project management and loves the challenge of homebuilding. Xavier holds a certificate in Construction Management from BCIT, is Gold Seal Certified in Project Management, and has a Red Seal in Carpentry.
James Chou (2011)
James started his construction career working on commercial projects. Five years later, after managing 20+ projects, he was enthused to join the Massey brothers in leading the RMD office. Supporting daily operations and all coordination efforts, he liaisons with homeowners, consultants, designers, suppliers and the construction team. James holds a business management diploma, has completed extensive construction management training at BCIT and ICBA, and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Chelsea Murray (2013)
After completing a two-year Architectural and Building Engineering Technology diploma program, Chelsea started her career with Ronse Massey Developments. Since then, Chelsea has gained a Bachelors of Technology in Construction Management while still working full time. Having an exemplary balance of education and experience,Chelsea project manages many of RMD’s projects.
Sam Maitland (2007)
The Massey brothers’ oldest childhood friend and the first employee of Ronse Massey Developments. After completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Calgary, Sam returned to the coast to do what he truly enjoys, building quality custom homes. Sam is an exceptional Red Seal Certified Carpenter, supervising one of Ronse Massey’s custom home projects at a time.
Adam Saab (2012)
Adam loves being outdoors and is not phased by our WestCoast weather. After acquiring a Bachelors of Arts,Adam had a brief stint in politics before spending a year farming on Vancouver Island. Adam completed his entire construction apprenticeship with Ronse Massey and is now a Red Seal Certified carpenter and a Ronse Massey Site Supervisor
Brad Galloway (2013)
Acquiring his Red Seal Certification in carpentry with Ronse Massey, Brad’s love for fine details are showcased in all of the RMD homes he has built. His thoroughness as a Site Supervisor supports his strong ability to build and his understanding of the construction process.
David Cheong (2013)
Completing a high school pre-apprentice carpentry course, David soon after joined the Ronse Massey team. Completing his carpentry apprenticeship solely with Ronse Massey, David has acquired his RedSeal. He has continued to grow and excel into his current position as a Site Supervisor.
Shane Polkey (2014)
Shane was looking for a career when his affection for buildings was materialized. He started his carpentry career with Ronse Massey after attaining a Bachelors of Anthropology. He’s been a committed and consistent team member, eager to expand his knowledge in the construction industry.
